Meet Allen

Allen Kincaid serves as Campus Pastor at Northview Church - Kokomo Campus in Indiana, where he leads with a deep passion for shepherding people and helping them grow in their relationship with Jesus. Prior to this role, Allen served as a Worship Pastor, where he cultivated meaningful worship environments and led teams in creating spaces for people to encounter God.

Allen lives in Kokomo, Indiana with his wife, Heather, whom he has been married to for 16 years, and their 11-year-old daughter, Emmersen. Outside of his pastoral role, Allen finds great joy in being a husband and father, playing the violin, and continually growing as a student of Scripture. His heart is to see lives transformed by the truth of God’s Word and to faithfully serve wherever God leads.

On Recording the LSB

Over the past few years, I’ve had the opportunity to grow in voice work through my role at Northview Church, but this project, in particular, shaped me in a new way.

What started as voice work quickly became something much deeper.

Spending extended time reading large portions of Scripture out loud reminded me to slow down, to be fully present with the text, and to engage God’s Word with renewed attentiveness. It challenged me not to rush, but to sit with Scripture and allow it to speak. My hope is that this project helps others experience Scripture in a way that draws them in, invites them to slow down, and ultimately leads them into a deeper relationship with God.
